Applications to serve on Operational Committees now open!
Athletics Ontario's operational committees provides leadership and support to the association by committing service and expertise to excellence in several of the pillars of the sport and development while supporting AO’s Mission, Vision and Values for optimum achievement of its goals and mandate. AO is seeking a mix of experience, expertise and individual competency that will assist the staff and committee members with fulfilling their operational roles. Committees with openings include the following: Awards Committee, Competitions Committee, Masters Committee, Technical Committee, Road & Trail Committee, and Sponsorship & Partnership Committee.
Athletics Ontario is responsible for the highest level of decision-making; overseeing the activities and affairs of the organization; assisting in developing and communicating the organizational vision to the membership and the Athletics community; and defining the parameters within which the association will carry out its work.

Those interested in a position are invited to fill out and submit the application form. Additionally, submit a current resumé or biography by emailing it to office@athleticsontario.ca. The application deadline is Sunday, November 1st, 2026 at 6:00 pm ET.

SIGN UP AS A NON-TECHNICAL VOLUNTEER
We define our non-technical volunteers as individuals who are eager to learn and help but may not yet have the technical background needed when assisting officials. These individuals are fast learners and can get the job done with the help of a quick explanation from either the AO staff or our volunteers, the officials!

CONSIDER BECOMING A VOLUNTEER OFFICIAL
Our officials / technical volunteers are individuals who preside over specific events at competitions. They have the technical knowledge required to ensure everything runs smoothly! If you have this background training, now is the time to reach out and be part of the team.
Don’t worry if you’re not yet trained to be an official! Skills learned as non-technical volunteers can be used in the training process. If training to be an official interests you, visit our Officials Registration page HERE.
