Has a fierce commitment to giving back and developing a flourishing community.
Volunteers are the backbone of our sport, and there are many diverse opportunities for skill development and networking. They also offer a fun environment to meet new people who share active values. Volunteering with AO is fun, rewarding and challenging.
If this sounds like you, WE WANT TO CONNECT WITH YOU!
SIGN UP AS A NON-TECHNICAL VOLUNTEER
We define our non-technical volunteers as individuals who are eager to learn and help but may not yet have the technical background needed when assisting officials. These individuals are fast learners and can get the job done with the help of a quick explanation from either the AO staff or our volunteers, the officials!

CONSIDER BECOMING A VOLUNTEER OFFICIAL
Our officials / technical volunteers are individuals who preside over specific events at competitions. They have the technical knowledge required to ensure everything runs smoothly! If you have this background training, now is the time to reach out and be part of the team.
Don’t worry if you’re not yet trained to be an official! Skills learned as non-technical volunteers can be used in the training process. If training to be an official interests you, visit our Officials Registration page HERE.
