  • FOR NEW OFFICIALS and those interested in becoming an Official


    This course involves an online Zoom introduction and then a 1-3 month period of practical experience at Track & Field competitions. This program is ideal for parents, athletes, students, and those looking to be involved in the sport to volunteer and support your local host club in putting on a track and field competition. Upon completion of the course, you will be prepared to help at an upcoming event by gaining knowledge of the sport, competition management structure, and some of the rules. The facilitator for the next several sessions is Lisa Ferdinand.

    This program is for Registered Officials of all Levels, for Mentors and Mentees.

    1. CREDIT = Working up to and including 4 hours in one day.

    2. CREDITS = Working over 4 hours, up to and including 8 hours in one day

    3. CREDITS = Working over 8 hours in one day. 

     

    *The maximum number of credits that may be claimed in one day is three.** Ontario officials are generalists at Levels 1 and 2, and begin to specialize when moving to Level 3.
