All Ontarians
Each year, Athletics Ontario takes great pride in recognizing its athletes who achieve the award of All-Ontarian – and we’re excited to share the criteria for the All-Ontarian recognition. Each All-Ontarian will receive a Certificate of Achievement and will be recognized on the AO social media platforms. Below are the criteria for the All-Ontarians:
-
All-Ontarian athletes must be competitive members in good standing at the time of the performance.
-
All-Ontarian Certificates of Achievement will be awarded to AO-member athletes who win a gold medal in an eligible provincial championship individual event* (relays are not included)
-
The Masters All-Ontarians are determined by the top-ranked age graded performance in each event category.
-
The “Rule of One” – which states that there must be a minimum of two (2) athletes in an event/discipline for a gold medal to be awarded – will apply to all eligible categories. If the Rule of One criterion is not met, there is no eligibility to be named a All-Ontarian.
Age categories eligible for All-Ontarian are U14, U16, U18, U20, Open, Para and Masters.
