A powerhouse in the hammer throw, Sultana has an impressive resume of Athletic achievements. Sultana was a seven-time National champion; a gold medalist at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi (India); broke the Canadian record four times during the 2008 season; and was a finalist at the 2009 World Championships.

In addition to representing Canada at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (China) and the 2012 Olympic Games in London (England, United Kingdom), Sultana earned a silver medal at the 2011 Pan Am Games, and a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games – and was a top eight finisher at the 2007 Pan Am Games.

At the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow (Scotland), Sultana won the gold medal, breaking her own Games record three times during the competition, finishing with a throw of 75.73m – and was subsequently named as Team Canada’s flag bearer.
