William Warner and Mark McCoy have included Klaus's photographs in their autobiographies and promotional materials. In addition, Klaus has contributed photographs to CBC Olympic Guides for the 1984 Los Angeles Games, the 1996 Atlanta Games, and the 2000 Sydney Games. Klaus also had a hand in producing coffee table books commemorating the 1984 and 1992 Summer Olympic Games,
and an exhibition of his finest athletics images were featured in a Toronto gallery during the 2015 Pan -American Games. Klaus has been an integral part of the World Athletics Championships.
At the 2017 event in London, England, he was among a select group of journalists recognized for covering each of the World championships until that time. Receiving his award from the President of World Athletics,
Lord Sebastian Ko. At the 2023 World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Klaus was honoured as the only photographer to have worked at all 19 editions of the World Athletics Championships, receiving his award from the great Javier Sotomayor, an Olympic champion, world champion, and world record holder in the men's high jump. Klaus's love affair with athletics is a testament to his unyielding dedication.
