The Rising Stars Cross Country Finale brings Ontario’s youngest runners together for a fun-filled day of racing, celebration and plenty of excitement. For the first time since the Rising Stars XC series began, the Finale is coming to Toronto!

Early Bird Deadline: Four Thursdays before the start of the competition.
Regular Deadline: Two Thursdays before the start of the competition.
Late Registration Deadline: Thursday prior to the competition.
Refund policy updated.
Refunds for entry scratches will be processed up until the regular registration deadline. Any scratches received after the regular entry deadline are not eligible for refunds.
Refunds for entry scratches can be completed by registrants until the end of the regular entry deadline.
Scratches done after the regular entry deadline must be emailed to operations@athleticsontario.ca for processing.

Rising Stars to be held at Sunnybrook Park.
The event is scheduled for October 11, 2026.
All athletes registering for Athletics Ontario Championships must hold a competitive membership with their national federation. Out of country athletes must contact operations@athleticsontario.ca to register. Out of counrtry athletes should have their member number from their federation in order to expedite their registration process.
Early Bird Deadline
- $20 per event plus HST and processing fees.
- Early Bird Registration Deadline: Thursday, September 17, 2026 @ 11:59pm ET
Regular Deadline
- $25 per event plus HST and processing fees.
- Regular Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 1, 2026 @ 11:59pm ET
Late Deadline
- $30 per event plus HST and processing fees.
- Late Registration Deadline: Thursday, October 8, 2026 @ 10:00am ET
- There are no coaching passes for this competition.
Technical Rules
Atheltes, coaches, and parents are responsibile for understaing all rules for the championship.

Signlets/Club Uniforms
Rule 143 in the AO Procedures and Technical rules outline that athletes may only wear uniforms/singlets representing clubs that are in good standing.
Non-club uniforms should be plain with minimal company advertising.
Warm-ups
Athletes are free to warmup along the course route but must stay clear of the route during races.
Scoring
All age groups (U8 to Masters) will contribute individual and team points to their respective clubs. Review the scoring protocols on the technical package.
Masters Team Awards: For the Masters division, teams must declare their teams on the following page: https://forms.gle/j7m32bvcD2CiEPdm6.
Ensure to review the technical package for declaration requirements.
