IMPORTANT DEADLINES: You MUST register by 11:59 pm on THURSDAY before the FIRST Championship you plan to attend.
LATE FEE: Coaches who do NOT register by the deadline may be subject to a $25 Fee to receive a Coaches pass for each event.
Note: You can also EDIT your registration by logging into your account in AthleticsReg should your plans change during the season, but make sure that you EDIT your registration by 11:59 pm on THURSDAY before any subsequent addition to your Competition schedule.

Important Technical Rules

Rule 143 - Clothing, Shoes and Athlete Bibs
-
Athletes competing in any AO provincial championships may wear clothing from AO/AC member clubs in good standing. Athletes not representing an AO/AC club must wear plain tops or singlets. Company logos are permitted on these garments following WA regulations.

At all AO Championships, athletes will receive a bib which shall be worn on the front in track events and on the front or back in field events.

Hip numbers, if provided, must be worn as directed. Where a Photo Finish System is in operation, officials may ask athletes to wear hip number(s) on the side of their shorts or lower body, as well as on their left chest.
Call Room
-
A call room will be used for this weekend's championship. Please refer to the call room schedule to ensure you are reporting to the call room within the specified timeframe.

U20 athletes that fail to report to the call room will result in the removal from that event and successive events. U16 athletes will only be removed from remaining events on the same day.
Seeding of Events
-
Seeding protocols can be found on the Atheltics Ontario Procedures and Technical Rules linked above.

Please note that events will be seeded the day before each day of competition.
-
For example, Saturday’s events will be seeded and posted on Friday evening.
-
Sunday’s events will be seeded and posted online by Saturday after 6pm.

Failure to Participate
-
World Athletics Rule 4.4 - Athletes who do not show up to an event (scratch after seeding has been posted) will be removed from any other events he/she is entered for at this championship. Medical restrictions or inclement weather occurrences that prevented an athlete from competing may be considered and should be brought to the meet director.
200m Declaration
-
Please note that the 200m on Sunday will have a declaration requirement.

Athletes that intend to race the 200m will need to declare at the declaration desk by the entrance to the fieldhouse.

If an athlete does not declare, he/she will be scratched from the event.

Declarations will close 1 hour prior to the start time of each age division.
-
Bib pick up is NOT declaration and athletes still must report to the call room.
