The Rising Stars Cross Country Finale brings Ontario’s youngest runners together for a fun-filled day of racing, celebration and plenty of excitement. For the first time since the Rising Stars XC series began, the Finale is coming to Toronto!

Ontario's top young athletes will converge on St. Catharines this summer to compete for provincial championship titles over three thrilling days of competition.

Early Bird Deadline: Four Thursdays before the start of the competition.
Regular Deadline: Two Thursdays before the start of the competition.
Late Registration Deadline: Thursday prior to the competition.

Refund policy updated.
Refunds for entry scratches will be processed up until the regular registration deadline. Any scratches received after the regular entry deadline are not eligible for refunds.
Refunds for entry scratches can be completed by registrants until the end of the regular entry deadline.
Scratches done after the regular entry deadline must be emailed to operations@athleticsontario.ca for processing.

July 22, 2026

Final Schedule corrections.
U16 Boys Discus to go at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 25.
Start time of U16 Boys Tetrathlon pushed later to 11:40am.

July 20, 2026

Final Schedule released.
Minor updates to start times for select events.
Adjusted start times for the U18 Girls and Boys 100m prelims.
Adjustement to start times for Sprint Medley Relays.
Added notices about checkin for events and warmup locations for track athletes.
All athletes registering for Athletics Ontario Championships must hold a competitive membership with their national federation. Out of country athletes must contact operations@athleticsontario.ca to register. Out of counrtry athletes should have their member number from their federation in order to expedite their registration process.

Early Bird Deadline

First Event: $35 plus HST and processing fees.
Additional Event: $30 plus HST and processing fees.

Early Bird Registration Deadline: Thursday, July 2, 2026 @ 11:59pm ET

Regular Deadline

First Event: $40 plus HST and processing fees.
Additional Event: $35 plus HST and processing fees.

Regular Registration Deadline: Thursday, July 16, 2026 @ 11:59pm ET

Late Deadline

$75 per event plus HST and processing fees.

Late Registration Deadline: Wednesday, July 22, 2026 @ 10:00am ET
CANADIAN Coaches

Coaches registered with their Provincial branch of Athletics Canada in the current competition year can register HERE for a championship coaching pass.

IMPORTANT DEADLINE: You must register by 11:59pm on Thursday before the championship.

LATE FEE: Coaches who do NOT register bu the deadline may be subject to a $25 fee to receive a Coaches pass for this event.

Out of Country Coaches

Must email OPERATIONS to request a Coaching Pass

NOTE: Only coaches who are registered with their national athletics federation and supply their membership number are eligible for passes.

USATF coaches can check their membership on the USATF Coach registry.
