A reminder that athletes must be registered with Athletics Ontario as a competitive member to register for this competition.
Important Information

The course will be setup and avilable for athletes to preview on Friday, November 14 between 3pm - 5pm.

Bibs will be avilable for pickup at Lakeridge Links Golf Course starting on:

An updated has been made to the Saturday schedule. Please note that the U8/U10/U12 divisions will start in the morning at 10:30am and the U20/Open/Masters age groups have been shifted to the afternoon.

Individual Scores
-
Top 8 athletes in each division (U8 – Senior) and gender will score points for their club. For the Masters division, top 8 overall age graded for each gender will score points for their club.

In the Masters division, athletes will have their performances age graded. Points will be allocated to the top 8 age graded Masters atheltes for their respective clubs.
Club Team Scoring
-
For U8 through to the Senior division, teams do not need to be declared. The first 4 athletes for each club to cross the finish line in each race will accumulate a score for their club. Only clubs with a minimum of 4 finishers will be ranked. Teams will be ranked from lowest to highest scores and the top 8 teams will be allocated points for club banner standings.

For the Masters division, teams must declare their teams no later than the Saturday prior to the championship date by 12:00pm EST. Team declaration can be found on the following page: https://forms.gle/j7m32bvcD2CiEPdm6.
Starting Line
-
Club positions on the starting line will be drawn by lot for each race and posted on Monday prior to the championship by 4:00pm EST.

Athletes will not be allowed to leave their belongings at the finish line. Clubs are asked to collect their athlete's belongings in bins and remove them from the start area.
Warmups
-
Athletes are allowed to warmup around the golf course during the championship. When there is an active race, athletes will be asked to stay clear of the race course by course marshals.

Team declaration is only required for Masters atheltes. Please use the following link to declare your club's teams: https://forms.gle/GSNfcAFjPgpJX83z6
When declaring your team on the above Google Form link, please ensure:

Declare at least 3 athletes if running an M30, M40, M50, M60, W30, W40 team.

3 athletes score in each of the above age groups.

Declare at least 2 athletes if running M70, M80, W50, W60, W70 team.
-
2 athletes score in each of the above age groups.
-
If there are changes to your declared team, please fill in a new declaration. The declaration form will be closed on Friday, November 14 at 10:00am EST.

The Jim Breslin cup is an award for Atheltics Ontairo clubs who participate in multiple cross country prep meets and both the provincial and national XC Championships in November.

Clubs that complete event registrations for their athletes can now use "Rosters" and "Bulk Registrations" on the club admin dashboard. Follow the steps below to complete your athlete's registrations for the AOXC Championship. Questions/issues can be sent to operations@athleticsontario.ca.

Create a “Roster.” This is an option on the left-hand side when you are on the dashboard.

Create a new roster.

Create a name
-
Roster type will be “Event Roster”
-
Multiple rosters can be created. This is recommended if registering more than 25 athletes at a time.

Select the newly created roster.
-
“Add Participants”
-
A listing of all athletes that are registered with the club should appear. You can simply select all or just select the athletes that are part of your XC roster.

Save it then head to “Bulk Registrations”
-

“Create a Bulk Registration”
-
Select your created "Roster"
-
Search for the event. In this case it is the "Ontario Cross Country Championship."

Add the billing contact, in this case yourself.
-
Select the bulk registration that you just created.
-
Select “Add Registration” under the Registrations section

You can now select all the athletes to register for the competition.
