TRACK TIME

Track Time has Arrived

Athletics Ontario is pleased to announce that a new developmental program, free to all AO clubs, is now available. This program, called Track Time, is the result of a comprehensive review of existing developmental programs for kids, and includes the most promising practices of each of those programs.

Track Time includes a ten week program plan, station descriptions and suggested activities, tips on how to manage your program and volunteers, and ideas for warmups, cooldowns and associated games.

The Track Time manual is available as a download from this site, or as a bound manual which we can mail to you. Each manual we mail comes with complimentary wall chart and points tables.

We believe Track Time will provide clubs with an off-the-shelf program which can easily be implemented to introduce young kids to our sport, drive membership, enhance local community visibility, and provide an opportunity for fund-raising.

Please let us know if you have any questions. To receive a bound Track Time manual or to apply for free Track Time equipment, send us an email at: ontrack@eol.ca

AO wishes to acknowledge and thank program coordinator Kevin Dunbar for his work in developing this program and drafting the manual.
