Best Practices Library: Among the resources available to all clubs from Athletics Ontario is a library full of practical books on how to manage risk and deal with legal and moral issues. The current Athletics Ontario library has the following titles available to all members and clubs:

Imagine Canada Risk Management Experts

Imagine Canada has recently launched a web-based feature of short pieces written by ten risk management experts. Rachel Corbett of the Centre for Sport and Law is the expert on sport risks and joins nine others writing practical columns about risk management issues relating to boards, governance, screening, employment, finances and technology. Canadian Sport for Life "A Sport Parent's Guide"

The newly released Canadian Sport for Life "A Sport Parent's Guide" is now available for download. Canadian Sport for Life and LTAD (Long-Term Athlete Development) focuses on the general framework of athlete development with special reference to growth, maturation and development, trainability and sport system alignment and integration. It incorporates information from a number of sources. The guide provides parents and coaches introductory information on the basics of training, LTAD stages, and how to support Canadian Sport for Life in sport, at home and in your community...not to mention a comprehensive appendix of resources.
