The TIME is NOW! Register for the 2010 Ontario Coaches Conference

Join over 300 Coaches at the University of Guelph from February 26-28th for a weekend of professional development, networking and celebration of coaching excellence. The weekend kicks off with a FREE open plenary where coaches, sport parents and athletes are invited to listen to one of Canada’s most influential leaders in sport, Pierre Lafontaine, CEO Swimming Canada. Saturday promises a full day of NCCP clinics, including five of the six Competition Development modules, a program which replaced Level 3 Theory last year. On Sunday, coaches can expect a full day of boot camp sessions on the hottest coaching topics like Coaching a Microwave Generation, Effects of Alcohol on Athletic Performance and Team Selection. During Lunch, Keynote speaker Jill Peck, will share war stories from her work in Kandahar as a fitness, sports and recreation coordinator for Canadian Forces personnel.

Thanks to the support of the Ontario Government through Quest for Gold Enhanced Coaching Funds, coaches can attend the full weekend for only $160. Day rates and tickets for the Ontario Coaching Excellence Awards dinner are also available starting at $50.
